Suman Ranganathan is indeed an Indian actress and model who already has appeared in Bollywood movies and therefore is recognised in Tamil and Kannada cinema as Suman Ranganathan. She occasionally features on item numbers and does all the modelling as well.
Ranganathan was also a member of a Mr India World 2007 judging panel. She made her Kannada cinema breakthrough within award-winning Santa Shishinala Shareefa, wherein she portrayed the spouse of Sridhar’s character Shareefa. She received a lot of praise for the performance within this tiny part. She received her first big break when Shankar Nag, a Kannada celebrity at the time, cast actress in their directorial debut film C.B.I Shankar, in which he also starred. After that, possibilities began to knock at her doorstep.
Critics appreciated her performance in Fareb (1996), her debut Bollywood movie, which was a Hindi version of Unlawful Entry (1992) featuring Kurt Russell, Ray Liotta, and Madeleine Stowe and starred Kurt Russell, Ray Liotta, and Madeleine Stowe. She too was praised for the scene-stealing performances in Aa Ab Laut Chalen is just a spoilt Indian-American socialite (1999). The greatest notable achievement within the movie industry occurred in 2003, when she released the Blockbuster hit film Baghban, which itself was recognized for four Filmfare Awards, included Best Movie.
For some time, Ranganathan began dating Bollywood Lead Actor Rahul Roy. She became totally immersed within the Kannada industry after that amount of time. She returned to the Tamil film business after a lengthy absence with the film Arrambam (2013). Suman makes an almost 18-year return to Tamil in this film, playing a hard journalist.
Suman Ranganathan has appeared in a number of popular films and contributed to the growth of others, including Neer Dose (2016) as well as Kavaludaari (2019).
