Art collector, philanthropist, and style icon Shalini Passi has officially been confirmed as a contestant on The Traitors India Season 2, the unscripted series hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. She is among the 21 contestants announced at a special event held in Mumbai on July 30, 2026. Passi, who gained widespread recognition through her appearance on Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives, joins the new season that was filmed at the luxurious Suryagarh Jaisalmer in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Speaking about her participation, Passi said, “I’m not here to make friends, I’m here to make fans.” She added with her trademark confidence, “I don’t need a secret weapon; kyuki main khud hi lethal weapon hoon. Aur waise bhi chuhon ko maarne ke liye bhramastra ki zaroorat nahi. Main jiske side hoon, either they win, or I will win.” The Traitors India Season 2 is set to premiere on Prime Video on Thursday, August 13, 2026, with new episodes dropping every Thursday thereafter.
