Manoj Joshi and Manjari Fadnis promotes their Hindi film ‘The UP Files’ in Lucknow

Shree Ostwal Films, the esteemed production house, hosted an exclusive event in Lucknow revealing the trailer of their highly anticipated film, “The UP Files.” The event was graced by the presence of Shri Dinesh Sharma ,Member of Rajya Sabha.

Directed by Neeraj Sahai and produced by Kuldeep Umrao Singh Ostwal, “The UP Files” promises to be a cinematic masterpiece, offering a captivating narrative and a compelling storyline.

Producer Umrao Singh Ostwal shared his thoughts on the occasion, expressing, “The journey of producing ‘The UP Files’ has been both challenging and rewarding. We believe in the power of storytelling, and with this film, we aim to create an immersive experience that resonates with our viewers

Director Neeraj Sahai said, “I studied at Lucknow University in the 80s and people will remember what the situation was like a few decades back. I live in Mumbai and know what people used to think about my state. And now, we see a turnaround. So, I discussed the concept with my producer Umrao Singh and we were on. What we showcase is an ideal situation.”

Actor Manoj Joshi added, “ First time in my career, I got to play a leading character and delivered as per the script and writer-director’s vision. Situation-wise, my role may look similar, as the character is in sanyasi’s attire. Cinema is ultimately a reflection of society, so the writer is bound to be inspired by a man who finished the goonda raj, built infrastructure and made the state an Udhyam (industry) Pradesh. I have experienced it while shooting in Lucknow, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Ayodhya,” he said. .”

Manoj Joshi, Manjari Fadnis, Avtar Gill, Ali Asgar, Shahbaz Khan, Milind Gunaji, Aman Verma and others are cast in the film. Head of production Gautam Rai,Sahil as line producer, Vishnu Nishad as production designer.The film was shot in Lucknow, UP, Rajasthan , Jammu and Mumbai .
