Jason Bourne

Jason Bourne is indeed an action thriller film directed by Paul Greengrass as well as written by Greengrass and Christopher Rouse that was released in 2016. This is a direct continuation to The Bourne Ultimatum as well as the fifth entry within the Bourne movie franchise. Former CIA assassin Jason Bourne is played by Matt Damon again in this film. Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander, Julia Stiles, Vincent Cassel, Riz Ahmed, Ato Essandoh, as well as Scott Shepherd also feature in the movie.

Because director Paul Greengrass intended to focus on the main character, and actor Jeremy Renner was unable to participate due to scheduling difficulties, the character Aaron Cross from The Bourne Legacy (2012) is absent from the movie. In Jason Bourne, Bourne is already on the run from CIA kill squads while attempting to unearth secret facts about his father, while CIA director Robert Dewey (Jones) orders Heather Lee (Vikander) to track him down.

The movie’s principal filming began on September 8, 2015. Jason Bourne had its world debut on July 11, 2016, in London, and also was released in theatres on July 29, 2016, in the United States by Universal Pictures. In a few Asian countries, such as China, India, the Philippines, and Vietnam, a 3D version was also produced. The picture garnered mediocre reviews with a global total of $415 million.

The movie’s principal filming began on September 8, 2015. The shooting took place in Kreuzberg, Berlin, in late November 2015. Filming began in early December 2015 in Washington, D.C., in which it did take place in Constitution Gardens. Filming was set to begin on January 14, 2016, and run through January 21, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Filming reportedly took place at Leavesden Studios’ stages F and H. The CIA hub space inside the movie was modelled by the Leavesden set. On February 1, 2016, the movie’s production came to an end.

Back Lot Music published the Jason Bourne soundtrack, created by John Powell and David Buckley with additional music by Batu Sener, digitally on July 29, 2016. For the movie’s end credits, a new version of Moby’s “Extreme Ways,” named “Extreme Ways (Jason Bourne),” was recorded.
