Emma Watson, who portrayed Hermione Granger inside the wizarding flicks, recalled her infatuation on Tom Felton, who portrayed villain Draco Malfoy, and how he made her heart skip a beat for the first time inside a preview of the ‘Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts’ special, which also will premiere on January 1.
Inside the HBO Max and NOW special Return To Hogwarts, Emma is accompanied by actors Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, who reflect on their time as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, as well as Ron Weasley. The actors grew up together on the Harry Potter set, so it’s no surprise that they became friends, but Emma recently disclosed the depth of her feelings for Tom, who plays Draco Malfoy. “I walked into the room where we were having tutoring,” recalled Emma. “The assignment that had been given was to draw what you thought god looked like, and Tom had drawn a girl with a backward cap on a skateboard. And I just don’t how to say it – I just fell in love with him,” Emma added, as per ET Canada.
Emma, on the other hand, emphasised that nothing romantic has ‘ever, ever, ever happened,’ and that they just ‘love one another.’ Tom, on the other hand, was fully aware of his admirer. “I believe I was in the hair and make-up chair when someone remarked, “Yeah, she had a crush on you,”‘ he explained. “I had a strong protective instinct for her.” Yes, I’ve always had a warm spot in my heart for her, and I still do.”
However, Emma is dating millionaire Leo Robinton, whereas Tom dated Jade Olivia Gordon, who portrayed Draco’s wife Astoria Greengrass in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. On January 1, 2022, HBO Max will premiere Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts.
