Starting with his most recent film, Cirkus, the actor is said to have increased his remuneration to Rs. 50 crore. A source informed a prominent newspaper that the actor is “expected to increase his remuneration with the success of every passing picture,” calling him “one of the most bankable stars” in the industry today.
Even Amitabh Bachchan was pleased by the performance of Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. According to claims in the media, the actor was paid Rs. 10 crores, the same as Shahid Kapoor. Deepika Padukone, their female co-star and now Singh’s wife were reportedly paid the most. Singh’s fees were allegedly raised as a result of the period drama’s success.

Interestingly, in his 2015 venture with Bhansali, Bajirao Mastani, Singh had not charged even one rupee! The risk was worth it, as the grand extravaganza earned over Rs. 250cr worldwide.
Singh has been lucky to have monetary success in his latest releases, riding the success chariot. While Simmba made about Rs. 250 crore at the box office in India, Gully Boy was also a huge hit. According to speculations, the Befikre actress would receive a sizable profit share for Kabir Khan’s ’83. In fact, from now on, it will be his standard.
