All That You Need To Know About Actress Pallavi Sharda- Tap to know

1. Born in Australia-

Pallavi’s parents moved to Australia before she was born, and she was born in 1988 in Perth, Australia to IIT graduates. Her father is a professor of computing science at Victoria University, while her mom works at the University of Western Australia as that of the Director of South Asian Relations.

2. A trained Bharatanatyam dancer-

Having been brought up in Australia, she remained deeply linked to her Indian heritage and culture, which sparked her passion for Bharatanatyam, an Indian Classical dance style.

3. A highly educated individual

Pallavi graduated from the University of Melbourne with an LLB, a BA (Media & Communications), as well as a certificate in Modern Languages (French).

She has been on the way to pursuing professions in the more traditional routes until she entered and won the Miss India Australia beauty contest in 2010.

4. Then she moved to Bombay and bagged a role in the movie “My Name Is Khan”

Pallavi moved to India after winning the Miss India Australia beauty contest in March 2010 and pursuing the dream of working in front of the camera.

She supported her decision with a minor part in Shah Rukh Khan’s “My Name Is Khan.”

5. In the following year, Pallavi Sharda got an opportunity to work with Manoj Bajpai, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana

In 2010, she featured in 2 more films: Dus Tola, in which she co-starred with Manoj Bajpai, and Walkaway, an indie film. She continued to hone her abilities and over the following two years by starring in a range of popular and not-so-popular films.

Nevertheless, it was the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Besharam from 2013 that earned her a big break in Bollywood. Within the film, she plays Ranbir’s soul mate. She starred as Ayushmann Khurana’s romantic interest in Hawaizaada in 2015.

6. She has also worked in Australian Films

She was contacted by Boyd Hicklin for just a Cricket comedy film, Save Your Legs!, following her international exposure. Around August 2013, this movie was released, and her acting was praised at film festivals. Also was a part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2016 as an Anchor.
