Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas and Malti Marie celebrate Diwaloween
Priyanka Chopra channels King Kylie, Nick Jonas dresses as a cowboy and Malti Marie is a ghost princess for their family Diwaloween.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has a name for the week where Halloween and Diwali overlap: Diwaloween. This year, she took the family trick-or-treating and posted the evidence on social media, turning a simple costume photo into a mini lesson in blending two festivals.
The family costume line-up
Nick Jonas went as a cowboy, Malti Marie was a ghost princess and Priyanka channelled Kylie Jenner’s King Kylie era. Sharing the pictures, Priyanka called it “quite an unlikely alliance” of a cowboy, a ghost princess and King Kylie going trick or treating. The caption also wished everyone a happy Halloween and declared that Diwaloween season is here.

Why Diwaloween works at home
Before the outing, Priyanka had given fans a look at the family’s Los Angeles balcony. Fairy lights and string lights brought the Diwali mood, while a giant black spider and hanging decorations kept Halloween in the frame. The two celebrations share the space instead of competing.
On the Jonas podcast, Nick recently said the family had marked Diwali and Halloween earlier because Priyanka was due to fly to Australia for her next project. The festive season has gone wider too: the couple celebrated Dussehra at home with Malti, including a Shivling abhishek and a hawan, with Nick washing Malti’s feet during the Kanya Pujan ritual.
For fans watching across two time zones and two cultural calendars, Diwaloween is a reminder that traditions do not have to be either/or. A cowboy, a ghost princess and King Kylie can share the same doorway as Diwali lights, and nobody has to pick a side.
What comes next for Priyanka
Professionally, Priyanka was last seen in The Bluff, which released on Prime Video in February 2026. The film cast her as Ercell Bodden, a former pirate whose past catches up with her. She now has a big theatrical return lined up with SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi, where she plays Mandakini alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on April 7, 2027, and marks her first Indian theatrical production since The Sky Is Pink in 2019.
She is also attached to executive produce and star in the survival thriller Reset, in which a woman wakes up stranded in the wilderness with no memory and meets a charming stranger she is not sure she can trust.
