From Aneet Padda's 'basic with glitter' to Sara Arjun's no-rules stance, stars share wardrobe secrets and festive style ideas.

Aneet Padda, Sara Arjun and More Talk Style Rules

Fashion interviews with celebrities can feel like a blur of ‘comfortable and chic’, but a new set of runway conversations delivered specific, wearable answers. Aneet Padda, Sara Arjun, Nitanshi Goel, Sanjana Sanghi, Elli AvrRam, Veer Pahariya and Tejasswi Prakash walked for labels such as Anushree Reddy, Suneet Varma and Shahin Mannan, and spoke about personal style, wardrobe secrets and the rules they ignore.

The timing matters. With festive and wedding-season invitations piling up, the stars’ answers double as a practical cheat sheet for real wardrobes.

Comfort is the real flex

Sara Arjun said if her wardrobe could reveal a secret it would admit she chooses comfort over everything else. She described her style as fluid and versatile, and added, ‘I don’t think there are any rules in fashion.’ If she had to wear one outfit forever, she would choose an embellished lehenga: ‘if I have to be in it forever, it better be amazing.’

Aneet Padda summed up her visual identity as basic with a little glitter. She loves pieces that are fluid yet structured, bright and colourful, with comfort as the key. In an earlier chat she had said she would dare a pixie cut, and she later got one; her current wish list includes a Lakme 9To5 Hya Glam Face Palette.

Signature pieces beat a full wardrobe

Sanjana Sanghi admitted to a denim fetish and owns too many pairs in the same colour and cut. Her personal style is understated but classic, and she elevates it with one strong piece such as shoes or a belt. Her closest style reference is Anushka Sharma’s kohl-and-bohemian vibe in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Tejasswi Prakash said she feels most confident in well-fitted denims, heels and a bodysuit, and credited Karan Kundra with teaching her that a good outfit can genuinely shift how she feels. Elli AvrRam revealed that her wardrobe would expose her growing love for sarees, and she named Malaika Arora and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja as style favourites. With a last-minute outfit change, she panics at first, then wings it. Veer Pahariya said his wardrobe still holds clothes from the last fifteen years, mapping an evolution from bright colours and metallics to minimal linen looks.

A festive rulebook you can actually use

  • Wear the right cut and colour before chasing a trend.
  • Anchor an understated outfit with one elevated piece, such as shoes, a belt or a watch.
  • Let confidence do the work; if you can carry a look, it works.

For Nitanshi Goel, that confidence is physical. She reframed ramp nerves with a line she loves: every heart-racing moment is the body cheering for you. Sara Arjun is also glad low-waist jeans have returned and already loves them. That energy, more than any single trend, is the real takeaway for festive and wedding-season dressing.
