Manoj Bajpayee on Ram Gopal Varma: “Khambe ka role karna hai, mai khada ho jaunga”

In an exclusive interaction with Movified, Manoj Bajpayee opened up about his much-anticipated collaboration with Ram Gopal Varma on Police Station Mein Bhoot. Speaking about their reunion, Manoj said that any project with RGV carries a certain magic: “Whatever work I’ve done with Ram, it has always turned out great.”

Recalling how the film came together, Manoj shared that when Ram first called him, he narrated just a line or two, and Manoj instantly agreed. When asked about the role, he admitted responding with a smile: “Of course, the main role.” He added that for him, any role offered by Ram would be worth taking on: “Whatever role Ram gives me, I’ll do it.”

On what makes RGV special as a director, Manoj praised his unique vision and storytelling style. “I love listening to him — his narration, the way he sees cinema. I’ve never felt with any other director what I feel when working with Ram,” he said, highlighting the rare creative synergy they share.
