As per the reports coming in, Legendary cricketer Sourav Ganguly has made clear to his fans that his Biopic is in the pipeline. Ranbir Kapoor is one of the top choices for the makers.
The Bollywood Industry recently has found a strong inclination towards Biopics lately, to be primarily specific towards the sports personalities. Which includes the biopics such as Bhaag Milkha Bhaag essayed by actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story played by Sushant Singh Rajput, Dangal movie based on Phogat sisters. Mary Kom portrayed by the actress Priyanka Chopra, Soorma movie based on hockey player Sandeep Singh and so many more. Now with Sourav Ganguly’s Biopic, one more will get added to the list. According to the reports, Saurav Ganguly has made it clear in the recent interview given to News 18 that a biopic is in the pipeline based on him.
Legendary Ganguly has clarified and told News 18 that, “Yes, I have agreed to the biopic. It will be in Hindi, but it is not possible to say the name of the director now. It will take a few more days for arranging everything”.
Since the news came, there were many assumptions about who will essay the cricketing legend in the Biopic. According to the reports published by News 18, they informed that Superstar Ranbir Kapoor is one of the actors in the makers’ top priority list. Even Sourav Ganguly has suggested the name of Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani actor Ranbir Kapoor. The Sourav upcoming Biopic will present his journey from becoming the cricketing legend to the President of BCCI.
This report will be the second biopic for the Saawariya actor Ranbir Kapoor if this report turns out to be true. As in the first one, he essayed the role of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. Ranbir sets an example of his dedication through a massive transformation.
