There is only one individual who can be called the audience’s, critics’, and destiny’s favourite, it’s indeed Hrithik Roshan, also known as the “Krish” of Indian cinema. He had been going through the most terrible era of his life, the breakup of his 14-year marriage – just as the largest blockbuster of his career, ‘Bang Bang,’ was about to hit theatres.
Despite the media suspicions, the celebrity kept it within the next himself and shown what true men are supposed of. He criticised a major newspaper for smearing his ex-wife’s reputation.
Hrithik Roshan’s career began on January 14, 2000, well with the film “Kaho Na Pyaar Hai,” helmed by his dad Rakesh Roshan. But while his double role in ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ launched him to immediate fame, and his successive roles in ‘Fiza’ and ‘Mission Kashmir’ managed to gain him rave reviews for his acting chops, other films such as ‘Yaadein,’ ‘Aap Mujhe Achchhe Lagne Lagey,’ and ‘Main Prem Ki Deewaani Hoon,’ among several others, did not help him.
The entry of new actors into the industry prevented his reign of terror.
However, this did not prevent Hrithik from marrying true love. Sussanne Khan, someone Hrithik had known since he was twelve years old, was his bride. The Couple courted for four years and decided to marry, and that they had two kids, Hrehaan and Hridhaan.
As a result, Hrithik returned to his father’s mentorship and starred in the 2003 film “Koi Mil Gaya,” wherein he played a mentally handicapped young person who befriended an alien stuck on Earth. The film went on to become the year’s greatest and also most critically praised film. In many respects, Hrithik Roshan’s film ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ was a rebirth for him in the business. It not only returned him to the big leagues but also confirmed his reputation as a good-looking performer who might truly act.
Hrithik Roshan has worn various hats, from one mentally ill adolescent to a physically disabled magician, out of a royal emperor to a jilted angry young man and a SuperHero, and each moment, a feather or two has been added to his already feathery cap. He is definitely a greek-god of Indian Cinema.
Hrithik Roshan’s living waxwork was put at London’s Madame Tussauds Wax Museum just in 2011, marking him the museum’s fifth Indian star to be recreated as a wax model. Hrithik Roshan established his own leisure clothing line, HRx, around 2013.
