Punit Malhotra’s fame has risen and fallen like a fickle since his massively successful debut feature movie featuring Imran Khan as well as Sonam Kapoor, “I Hate Luv Stories.” Punit Malhotra has always been the centre of attention since that, and he appears to be determined to remain there.

Punit Malhotra was born on May 13, 1981, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, but raised in a Punjabi household in the Bandra coastal suburb. Rekha was founded by his maternal grandpa, Ram Dayal Sabarwal, who had been a producer. Suneel as well as Dharmesh Darshan, directors, are his only cousins; David Dhawan, a well-known movie, is his family’s first nephew.

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, Malhotra’s second film, was financed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and starred Kareena Kapoor as well as Imran Khan, who had previously worked together in Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. He helmed Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey, with Tara Sutaria inside the 2019 film Student of the Year 2. He filmed the videos “Unbelievable” and “Casanova,” which together starred Tiger Shroff, in 2020.
