We’ve witnessed a significant shift in the sorts of films coming out of India in recent years. People may access material from anywhere in the world because of the numerous digital channels accessible. As a result, we had to step up our game in terms of content quality. The most significant advantage was that it allowed producers, directors, and performers to take greater risks in their work by attempting to offer material that differed from the commercial masala films that we’ve all been accustomed to. Read below to know the Indian film that has earned the most.

Bahubali 2: The Conclusion (1,796.56 Crore)

Indian film
Bahubali 2 is the highest grossing film

The Baahubali series raised the bar for visual effects in Indian film to new heights. It was a visual feast for the entire country. Baahubali 2 lived up to the high expectations set by the original film in many ways, most notably by providing a solution to the issue of why Kattappa killed Baahubali. SS Rajamouli deserves credit for not only nailing the aesthetic aspect of the film but also for turning it into an emotional roller coaster. He immerses you in his imaginary world and makes you feel like you’re a part of it.

S. S. Rajamouli, who also co-wrote the film with K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, directed the 2017 Indian epic action film. It was created under the brand Arka Media Works by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, Nassar, and Subbaraju are among the ensemble cast members of the film, which was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil.

It is the sequel to and serves as a precursor to Baahubali: The Beginning. The film is set in mediaeval India and chronicles Amarendra Baahubali and Bhallaladeva’s sibling rivalry; the latter plots against the former and has him slain by Kattappa. Years later, Amarendra’s son comes to seek retribution for his father’s killing.

With a worldwide total of 1,796.56 crores, The Conclusion momentarily eclipsed PK (2014) to become the highest-earning Indian film of all time, generating almost $8 billion in just six days. In just ten days, it became the first Indian film to make more than $10 billion.

Hope that we have answered the right way to the query.
