When Ranbir Kapoor described Alia Bhatt as “new and dynamic,” he revealed her effect on him

The countdown has begun for one of Bollywood’s most anticipated weddings, with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt due to tie the knot next week. The lovebirds will tie the wedding at the Kapoors’ RK mansion in Chembur, where Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor earlier tied the knot. We were also the first to report that they will marry between the hours of 2 and 4 a.m. on April 16th, according to the Kapoors’ fascination with the number 8.

As fans eagerly await the arrival of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia as husband and wife, we thought it would be a good opportunity to revisit a period when the Barfi actor talked affectionately of his ladylove.

During a chat with Rajeev Masand a few years ago, Ranbir spoke about his experience working on the film alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt. He expressed his delight at the prospect of performing lines with the ‘great’ Amitabh Bachchan. He was similarly ecstatic to collaborate with Alia, describing her as “this new energy Alia, who’s so young and dynamic, and flowing.” It was very incredible.”

He was also questioned if falling in love with Alia had changed him and made him a better person. When a person is in love, according to Ranbir, they do remarkable things. He went on to say that love is a blessing. “To be in a happy, beautiful, positive place, relationship – could be with a girl, a guy, a friend, your mother, your father, anybody – when there’s some genuine love, it’s really beautiful, Ranbir said.”

Further, Ranbir Kapoor was questioned about the impact Alia Bhatt has had on him. “It can only be good.” And it’s much more so because we’re collaborating on a project. I have a lot of respect for her as an actress. And to see her with so much colour, spontaneity, hard effort, and discipline, especially disciplined discipline, is rather unusual, according to Ranbir. He went on to say that witnessing these traits in Alia makes him feel less jaded and tired.
