Vanita Kharat, who appeared inside the nude to promote positive body image, has expressed her gratitude for the favourable reception to her photograph. Vanita posed naked before a deliberately placed kites inside the provocative photo, which was considered as part of a calendar session.
“I am proud of my skill, my passion, my confidence, and I am proud of my physique… because I am ME…!!!,” Vanita captioned the shot, naming photographer Tejas Nerurkar. “Let’s embrace this Positive Body image Movement altogether,” she said.
“My friends, both from the business and others, and even people I don’t know seem to have enjoyed it,” Vanita stated Times of India well about the shoot. They congratulated me on my appearance. Some others said that viewing the photo made them feel better about themselves, and some plan to hang it on home walls. There have, of course, been critics. Some have questioned my motivation for filming naked, and all I can say is that this is the shape we are born in, so what’s so disgusting about it? Many others were perplexed as to why the kite was flying. To me, a kite that soars across the sky means you desire to go high and chase your ambitions.”
“I can’t speak for others, but I receive requests to portray a mom, aunt, or maid,” the actor remarked when asked if she has faced bias in the film business because of her appearance. However, the industry has an issue with this. It’s important not to mix up the body positivity movement with industry needs.”
