Two successful Bollywood actors, Akshay Kumar, and Shah Rukh Khan had worked together. Both superstars were seen in the film ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’. Recently, there was a throwback picture of the duo from the sets of the film on social media. The photo was shared by one of Shah Rukh Khan’s fan pages on Instagram. In the picture, Akshay Kumar is batting and Shah Rukh Khan is the wicketkeeper. It appears that the two are playing on opposing teams during a match.
The superstars seem to have utilized their free time very well on the sets of the movie. Shah Rukh Khan played the lead role in the movie. Akshay Kumar made a guest appearance in ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’. The film also starred Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor in lead roles. The movie was a super-duper hit. Apart from its romantic storyline, the movie also had chartbuster songs like, ‘Pyaar Kar’, ‘Are Re Are’, ‘Bholi Si Surat’, and others.
It is to be noted that ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ is the only film wherein Shah Rukh and Akshay have worked together. In the year 2019 Shah Rukh was asked why he and Akshay had not done films together. SRK answered, “What do I say to this? I don’t wake up as early as him.” Shah Rukh added “I go to sleep when Akshay is waking up. His day starts early. By the time I start working, he is packing up and going home. So, he can put in more hours of work. I’m a nocturnal person. Not many people are fond of shooting at night like me.”
