After a few years of lull owing to Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor’s work arena is finally buzzing with activity. The actor is currently filming Luv Ranjan’s romantic comedy, as well as a few other projects. While the Luv Ranjan love story is nearing completion, the actor is said to be juggling Luv Ranjan’s film and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal this month.
According to a recent rumour in Mid-Day, Ranbir Kapoor would not take a break and will film both Vanga’s thriller Animal and Ranjan’s feature at the same time.
This juggling is necessary since Vanga wants to start shooting his film by the end of April.
Commenting on the same, a source revealed, “Over the past week, Sandeep has had multiple conversations with his production team regarding the locking of venues across Mumbai. A major portion of the film will be shot outdoors, so the makers are initiating the process of procuring permissions.”
In May, Ranbir will concentrate on Vanga’s project, according to the source. “Ranbir has yet to can some crucial scenes for his film with Luv. So, he will juggle the two projects in the last week of April, before giving his undivided attention to Vanga’s movie from the first week of May. Vanga will largely shoot Anil’s scenes over the first 15 days of the schedule.”
Vanga’s Animal has seen a huge transformation in the last week, with Parineeti Chopra opting out of the film. Soon after, Rashmika Mandanna, a South star, was cast as Ranbir Kapoor’s onscreen wife. Anil Kapoor will play Ranbir’s father in the film.
Aside from Animal, Ranbir has Shamshera and Brahmastra scheduled for release this year.
