Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding day has finally arrived! In the company of their close relatives and friends, the pair will tie the knot today at the Vastu mansion of the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani star in Bandra, Mumbai. The couple’s pre-wedding festivities began with mehendi on Wednesday. The rites were attended by Neetu Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Shweta Bachchan, Soni Razdan, Aadar Jain, Shaheen Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Karan Johar, among others.
Neetu Kapoor, the groom’s mother, now has the ideal method to honour her late husband Rishi Kapoor during her son’s wedding. The actress gave us a sneak peak at her Mehendi for her son Ranbir’s wedding a few hours ago, and it included Rishi Kapoor’s name. A source present at the couple’s mehendi yesterday told India Today that Neetu became emotional and recalled memories of her own Mehendi and engagement ceremony with Rishi.
Alia Bhatt’s sister Shaheen, Soni Razdan, Neetu, and Riddhima were photographed arriving to the Barfi actor’s Vastu house for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s Haldi ceremony earlier today. According to an ETimes article, the pair would have a traditional Punjabi wedding, with the Kapoors’ baraat procession beginning at Krishna Raj bungalow and ending at Ranbir’s Vastu mansion, with Ranbir’s Dulhan Alia waiting for the pheras.
According to India Today, the wedding ceremony would start at 3 p.m. The couple has been tight-lipped about any specifics surrounding their wedding. However, Neetu and Riddhima stated yesterday that the wedding will be held on April 14.
