Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming directorial Three Part movie Brahmastra, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, is one of the highly anticipated films for the obvious reasons. The movie talks are going on since its announcement in the 2018. As it will mark the first big screen collaboration for the love birds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
The shoot of the movie Brahmastra was paused since the lead pair Alia and Ranbir were contracted with the deadly covid-19 virus. Now when the new Covid-19 cases have decreased. covid protocols are relaxed and the actors have also recovered from the attacking virus. It is the best time for the makers to resume and complete the last leg of the shooting.
According to a report updated in the news portal, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji is planning to kick start the shooting of the last schedule post-August. For the last stretch of the movie, the cast and the crew of the fantasy drama will be vaccinated and then they will jet off to Budapest in Hungary. Also about the covid norms and protocols, it’s mentioned that the international flights are likely to resume post-August. As the film is starring veteran actors like The Great Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni, Mouni Roy and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles.
As a close source of the development also quoted, “A lot of films were expected to be released this year, however, everything’s changed because of the second wave of Covid 19. The makers of Brahmastra is now looking at a Summer 2022 release.”
