Shamshera, directed by Yash Raj Films and featuring superstar Ranbir Kapoor, will be released on July 22, 2022, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The creators of the film, helmed by Karan Malhotra of Agneepath fame, have released a release date announcement video, and indeed the strong background soundtrack has the internet buzzing. Karan says that the motivating music he believes will contribute to the grandeur of this throbbing big-screen extravaganza took him seven months to develop.
Karan reveals, “When a trailer or a video is made, there are so many elements at play to give our audiences maximum impact. And what is super exciting is when those elements are recognized and appreciated by our audiences. One such element of the Shamshera announcement video is the background score. It is heartening to receive such an encouraging reaction to the musical score of the video.”
He adds, “And I promise you; this is truly just a glimpse of what the background score of Shamshera will finally deliver. Mithoon and I have spent an enthralling and exhaustive 7 months delivering to you a score that will truly give you a power-packed experience of the film and its epic conflict that awaits to unfold in the theatres.”
Shamshera is indeed a high-octane entertainment set in India’s heartland. It holds the potential of a never-before-seen Ranbir! Sanjay Dutt plays Ranbir’s arch-enemy inside the movie, which is a tremendous casting coup. Sanjay will portray a cruel, merciless villain, and his clash with Ranbir will be exciting to witness, as they will be pitted against one another! Vaani is cast opposite Ranbir in the film and portrays a stunning, in-demand travelling performer from the nation.
