Sushmita Sen has wowed the Indian public with her intelligent and pleasant attitude, her beauty, confidence, and, of course, her acting prowess during the course of her two-decade career. On the big screen, the former Miss Universe has given some noteworthy performances. Sushmita Sen had a stunning comeback with the Ram Madhvani online series Aarya, which she starred in. Despite the fact that her fans want to see more of her, Sushmita has always been picky about which projects and films she takes on. Sushmita Sen discussed why she isn’t signing many projects despite getting global recognition for her work in both seasons of Aarya in a recent interview with Hindustan Times.
Sushmita claims to have always been a very private person. “Aside from Aarya, I’ve given greenlight to two more scripts that we’re still working on.” That’s exactly what I want to accomplish. “I’ve always been a pretty private person,” said the actress. She went on to say that in her personal, professional, and social lives, she never believes in taking on too much, but rather in doing simple things well.
Sushmita also explained why she is so picky when it comes to projects. The 46-year-old actress added that she aspires to develop a one-on-one relationship with her audience and to produce quality work.
“I want to achieve one on one equation with the people — my audiences as well as my well-wishers. I want to be able to do good work so that I have additional new audiences, people who may not have watched my work before, maybe an entire new generation that looks at it and says there’s ‘imandari’ here. That’s very important for me,” Sushmita concluded.
