The much-anticipated debut in The Archies of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, late actress Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda has been a long time coming. Finally, Zoya Akhtar has revealed the cast’s first official look. Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina are among the cast members.
Suhana will play Veronica, Khushi will play Betty, and Agastya Nanda will play Archies in the film. The Archies teaser was also released on social media alongside the first glimpse. “Get ready to take a trip down memory lane ’cause The Archies is coming soon only on @netflix_in,” wrote Akhtar. Sharing the teaser, Zoya added, “Ain’t nothing like old school. Grab your gang ’cause the Archies are coming soon on @netflix_in !”

Amitabh Bachchan, Agastya’s grandpa and actor, re-shared The Archies first look on social media, praising his grandson and writing, “Get ready to take a trip down memory lane ’cause The Archies is coming soon only on @netflix_in,” wrote Akhtar.
The filming of The Archies began in April of this year. Producer Reema Kagti released a photo from the set of the film on her official Instagram account, writing: “Ain’t nothing like old school. Grab your gang ’cause the Archies are coming soon on @netflix_in !”
Meanwhile, in March, photos of the main actors, including Suhana, Khushi, and Agastya in their character costumes, went popular on the internet. “another SONrise.my GrandSON. all the blessings Agastya .. love you. The initiative was unveiled by Zoya in November of last year. “Get your milkshakes ready because Archie and the gang are about to get down and desi in ‘The Archies’. A coming-of-age musical drama directed by @zoieakhtar. Coming soon to Netflix! #TheArchiesOnNetflix,” Zoya’s post read.
The cinematic version of the iconic Archie comics, set in the 1960s, will be produced by Tiger Baby’s Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti and Graphic India’s Sharad Devarajan. Kagti, Akhtar, and Ayesha DeVitre wrote it. In 2023, The Archies will be available on Netflix.
