In a sad turn of events, Sidharth Shukla passed away today morning at 10:30. The actor allegedly suffered a heart attack and was brought dead to Cooper hospital, according to hospital officials. He was 40 and is survived by his mother and two sisters.
This news came as a shock as Sidharth recently appeared as a guest on Bigg Boss OTT and Dance Deewane 3 with rumored girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill. Siddharth Shukla the winner of Bigg Boss 13 was a popular face of showbiz.
Sidharth’s family has informed the Mumbai Police that there was no foul play or him being under mental pressure. They don’t want any rumors to float around.
No injuries were sustained on Sidharth’s body. The cause of the death is yet to be ascertained. However, it is believed he suffered a massive heart attack. A team of Mumbai police is at his residence for investigation.
Sidharth’s team requested everyone to give his family and loved one’s space. The statement read, “We are all in pain! We are as shocked as you are! And all of us knew Sidharth was a private person, so please respect his privacy, his family’s privacy. And please pray for His Soul To Rest in Peace.”
The actor is known for his roles in telly shows such as ‘Balika Vadhu’ and ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’. He was also seen in popular reality shows such as Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7, and Bigg Boss 13.
As soon as the news of his demise came, a slew of celebrities, as well as his fans, flooded social media with condolence posts.
Salman Khan tweeted, “Gone too soon Sidharth.. u shall be missed. Condolences to the family… RIP.”
Akshay Kumar paid his condolences and wrote, “Really sad to know about the passing away of #SiddharthShukla. I didn’t know him personally but it’s heartbreaking to know of such a talented life gone so soon. Om Shanti.”
“Gosh, this is Heartbreaking!! May your soul RIP #SidharthShukla. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones,” Kiara Advani tweeted.
Mallika Sherawat wrote on Twitter, “Too young to go #SiddharthShukla RIP.”
Sharad Kelkar tweeted, “Totally Numb! This is beyond shocking! Life is so unpredictable. May his soul rest in peace #SiddharthShukla.”
Paying the tribute to Sidharth, Koena Mirta twitted, “Deeply saddened! @sidharth_shukla, We met for just 14 days, we fought a lot and parted ways. Never spoke again. Your sudden demise has taught me unconditional forgiveness! I forgive everyone & seek forgiveness from whoever I may have disappointed. RIP Sid. #SiddharthShukla.”
