Shilpa Shetty prays at Mata Vaishno Devi, amid husband Raj Kundra’s porn case

Shilpa Shetty Kundra on Wednesday visited Mata Vaishno Devi Temple in Jammu and Kashmir’s Katra to seek blessings. The actress prayed at the holy shrine amid the ongoing pornographic case of her husband, businessman Raj Kundra. Many pictures and videos went viral on the internet, wherein Shilpa can be seen taking the journey to the shrine on a horse. The Hungama 2 actress also interacted with other devotees there.

Shilpa’s visit comes at the same time when the Mumbai crime branch filed a supplementary charge sheet against Raj Kundra in the case.

The police officials said Shilpa arrived at Katra, the base camp of the cave shrine on Wednesday. Soon after her arrival, she was accompanied by police personnel after which she undertook the journey to the shrine on a horse. She chanted ‘Jai Mata di’ during the journey.

Talking to the reporters, the actress said, “I am very happy to be here. It was due to the goddesses’ call that I came all the way to pay obeisance to her.”

Meanwhile, the Property Cell of Mumbai Police Crime Branch submitted a 1500-page supplementary charge sheet on Wednesday before Esplanade Court in connection with the ongoing case against Raj. As per information shared by Mumbai police today, the 1500-page charge sheet contains the statements of 43 witnesses including Raj Kundra’s wife Shilpa Shetty.

The statements of Sejal Shah, Sherlyn Chopra, several models, and employees of Raj’s company have been recorded in the charge sheet.

For the unversed, Kundra was arrested by Mumbai police on July 19 along with 11 other people for allegedly publishing pornographic films online.
