Sherni teaser OUT: What’s Vidya Balan’s one-liner?

The makers of “Sherni” have dropped the much-awaited teaser of Vidya Balan’s upcoming film. Movie Buffs have great expectations from Vidya Balan’s character as a forest officer.  In the movie, she tries to find a balance in a hostile world wherein there is a conflict between animals and humans. The teaser has left the audiences even more excited for the trailer, which will release on June 2.

The 20-second-teaser elevates the secret about what to expect from Sherni.  It comprises just a one-liner by Vidya: “Jangal Kitna Bhi ghana Kyun na ho, sherni Apna rasta dhoond hi leti hai”.  The teaser begins with a spooky shot of Vidya crossing a forest, presumably in search of Sherni. The Sherni teaser cloaks on a note with Vidya examining her surroundings.  Her expression is noteworthy while she navigates the forest.

The shooting of Sherni came to a halt last year during a nationwide lockdown in March. The film’s cast and crew resumed the shooting in October last year following strict Covid protocols.  The film was shot in the dense forests of Madhya Pradesh.  The Amazon Original is directed by Amit Masurkar and written by Aastha Tiku. Vijay Raaz, Neeraj Kabi, Ila Arun, Sharat Saxena, Brijendra Kala and others also star in Sherni.
