Rishi Kapoor’s last film Sharmaji Namkeen could not be completed by the actor. The actor was diagnosed with cancer and passed away on April 30, 2020. Meanwhile, the makers are planning to release the film. Paresh Rawal is taking forward the unfinished project of Rishi Kapoor.
Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Ridhima took to her Instagram and shared the information. Posting the first poster of the film Ridhima wrote, “We are proud to present, the poster of a very special film- Sharmaji Namkeen. The film stars one of the most celebrated actors in the Hindi film industry. The actor’s great work and bright career we will cherish forever. Rishi Kapoor is a mark of love and respect.”
Ridhima added, “As a gift to his millions of fans, here is the first look of his final film. A big thank you to Mr. Paresh Rawal, who completed the film. Paresh took it upon himself to step into the character played by Rishiji. This film is a light-hearted story of a lovable 60-year-old-man.”
In the meantime, Rishi’s wife Neetu Kapoor has also shared a picture with him. Neetu wrote, “I learned a lot from Rishi Ji during our last few years in NYC. We celebrated, dined, shopped. laughed. When he was low, we just stayed home watched tv and hoped he would be better. We all miss him today on his 69th birthday!!! Happy birthday Kapoor Saab.”
