These days, Shahid Kapoor has plenty of reasons to smile from ear to ear. After all, with his new film Jersey, he’ll be back on the big screen over two years after his last appearance. The film, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, will star Shahid in the character of a cricketer, and he is going all out to promote it. The Batti Gul Meter Chalu actor has also been tweeting breathtaking photos of himself from the Jersey promotions, which are a gift for fans.
In the midst of everything, Shahid has once again taken to social media to showcase a series of monochrome photos of himself. The Kabir Singh actor was seen grinning with delight in the photos. He wore a striped pattern shirt and matching pants, which he coupled with a pair of fashionable sunglasses. Shahid seems to be in good spirits in the photos, and it appears that he is excited for the release of Jersey next week. He wrote in the caption, “Because I’m happy….” Shahid’s baby brother, Ishaan Khatter, was awestruck by his flair. In fact, Ishaan said in the comments section shortly after Shahid published the photos, “Proper gorgeous.”
Meanwhile, when it comes to Jersey, the film is the official Bollywood adaptation of the Telugu sports drama of the same name, which won a National Award. Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur will also star in the film, in addition to Shahid. Jersey will be released on April 13 and will compete with Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 at the box office.
