Alia Bhatt is one of Bollywood’s most successful actresses, having shown her mettle on the big screen several times. Give her a part, and the Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania actress would give it her all to make it a success. Alia has not only won hearts with her acting abilities, but also with her variety, which is a pleasure for viewers. Interestingly, Alia’s success in Bollywood is frequently linked to Karan Johar, who introduced her with the 2012 film Student of the Year.
However, in a recent interview with Galatta Plus, the acclaimed filmmaker noted that he shouldn’t take credit for Alia’s success and even referred to her as the finest performer working across genders. In regards to the actress, KJo stated, “Everyone gives me credit for Alia, and I deserve no credit. I have given her the least challenging role of her career”. He also said that Alia’s tremendous success not just leaves him overwhelmed but he is also concerned for the actress as she has got way too much and that too soon. “I always pray for her… Because it’s too much too soon. Shah Rukh once said that. He said, ‘Too much too soon, she will always have to be at the top of her game’,” Karan added.
To be sure, Karan has reunited with Alia for his forthcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film, which also stars Ranveer Singh, would be her second collaboration with the Dil Dhadakne Do actor, following their 2019 release Gully Boy.
