Veteran music director Raam Laxman passed away on 22nd May, Saturday in Nagpur. He composed music for films such as Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Hum Saath Saath Hain and more. He was suffered a heart attack.
Laxman’s son Amar revealed that he got his second covid-19 vaccine a few days back, after which he felt weak. Speaking on his father’s death, Amar revealed “My father passed away at 2:00 am on Saturday. He died due to a heart attack. He got the second jab of Covid-19 vaccine a few days ago, following which he was feeling very weak and fatigued, and a doctor was treating him for that.”
Salman Khan also mourned the demise of Raam Laxman. The actor tweeted, “Ram Laxman, music director of my successful films like maine pyaar kiya, patthar ke phool, hum saath saath hain, hum apke hain kaun has sadly passed away. May his soul rest in peace. Condolences to the bereaved family.”
Lata Mangeshkar also took to her social media and paid tribute to him. She mentioned, “I just learned that the extremely talented and popular music composer Raam Laxman ji (Vijay Patil) has passed away. I am very sorry to hear this. He was a very good man. I sang many of his songs which got very popular. I pay him my respects.”
Raam Laxmi is known Laxman od duo composers ‘Raam Laxma’. The singer started his journey in films with Marathi actor comedian Dada Kondke’s 1975 film ‘Pandu Hawaldar’. Raam sang for movie with his collaborator Surendra under the name Raam-Laxman.
Raam Laxmi started his career by composing music for Dada Kondke’s Marathi’s films. The singer also worked on kondke’s hindi songs as well. Dada Kondke was Raam Laxman music composing duo. Surendra breathed his last in 1976, soon after they both singned the film Agent Vinod.
