Rhea Chakraborty is gently but gradually reclaiming her place in the spotlight. Rhea has just walked the runway in a fashion show in Pune, in addition to attending city events. Rhea was frank about her aspirations to return to the ramp stage and in front of the camera in a recent interview with ETimes.
Speaking about her ramp walk, Rhea said, “I’m really excited to be here. It’s been a while that I’ve walked the ramp, almost a couple of years and I’m happy to be back at it like for me.” Following the death of her partner and actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June 2020, the actress underwent a significant personal transformation. Rhea stated that she intends to return to work as soon as possible.
Rhea elaborated on how she was handled during the lockdown, saying, “It’s been a lot of healing and like coming back to normalcy, with baby steps at a time. So other than that, like work I’m trying, I’m hoping something will happen soon. So fingers crossed.”
In February, Rhea was also there for her best friend Shibani Dandekar’s wedding to Farhan Akhtar. Rhea said it was one of the most gorgeous weddings she had ever seen. Rhea had captioned a photo she had shared with the pair on social media, “Love is contagious, thankyou for spreading so much love on your special day. @shibanidandekar you make the most beautiful bride in the world, I love you to the moon and back.”
