Actress Rasha Thadani, daughter of Raveena Tandon, who made her Bollywood debut with the period drama Azaad, was recently in conversations for Hansal Mehta and Lijo Jose Pellissery’s upcoming film. However, she has reportedly stepped away from the project.
According to industry sources, Rasha’s schedule is packed. She is currently wrapping up work on one film and is expected to dive directly into prep for her first South film titled AB4 soon after. The back-to-back commitments left little room for her to take on another role, despite her strong liking for the script.
AB4 is directed by Ajay Bhupathi which also introduces Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, nephew of Mahesh Babu. The film is said to be as an intense and realistic love story set against beautiful hill landscapes. Produced by Gemini Kiran under CK Pictures and presented by C. Ashwini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies, AB4 is targeting a 2026 release.
Meanwhile, the Mehta–Pellissery collaboration continues to generate buzz. The script, co-written by Pellissery and Karan Vyas, explores intimate relationships and the subtle shifts that define them. Casting is underway, and the film is set to go on floors later this year.
On her own front, Rasha has another Bollywood film on the way. She will soon be seen in Laikey Laikaa, opposite Munjya actor Abhay Verma, marking yet another step forward in her growing career.
