Ranjeeta “Robby” Kaur is an Indian cinema actress who was born on September 22, 1956. She received her education at FTII. She really does have a total of 47 movie credits. Ranjeeta Kaur has played a wide range of roles and is better remembered for their breakthrough roles in Bollywood movies such as Laila Majnu (1976), Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se (1978), and Pati Patni Aur Woh (1979). She has been nominated for three Filmfare Awards, notably two again for movies mentioned below.

Raj Masand is Kaur’s husband, and they have a kid named Sky. Ranjeeta used to reside in Norfolk, Virginia, alongside her husband Raj as well as kid Sky. They relocated to Pune’s Koregaon Park some few years ago. They were the owners of a chain of 7-Eleven shops in Virginia.

Talking about Ranjeeta Kaur’s career in detail, the actress made her acting debut with the movie Laila Majnu, alongside Rishi Kapoor (1976). She went on to star in movies including Pati Patni Aur Woh (with Sanjeev Kumar) and Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se, which were both financially successful (with Sachin). Surakshaa, Tarana, Humse Badhkar Kaun, Aadat Se Majboor, Baazi, and Gunahon Ka Devta were some of her favourite movies starring Mithun Chakravorty. In Satte Pe Satta, she portrayed the protagonist opposite Amitabh Bachchan.

Rubina (her sister), starred alongside Rajeev Tandon (Raveena Tandon’s brother) in Ek Main Aur Ek Tu. Kaur was closely linked with the Rajshri family, whose films produced several successes. In numerous films, Ranjeeta Kaur appeared alongside Rishi Kapoor, Sachin, Raj Babbar, Raj Kiran, Deepak Parashar, Vinod Mehra, and Amol Palekar. Mithun Chakraborty was her best-renowned partner. Gunahon Ka Devta, her final movie prior to leaving the profession, was released in 1990. In the mid-1990s, she featured in a few television serials before taking a break from performing. Ranjeeta reappeared to the cinema in 2005 with Anjaane: The Unknown, after quite a 15-year absence.

She reappeared with Mithun Chakraborty in the 2008 film Zindagi Tere Naam. In 2012, the movie’s release was postponed. Jaana Pehchana, a sequel to Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se, reunited her with Sachin in 2011.
