Ranbir Kapoor’s Pune flat rents at ₹4.63 lakh a month
The actor’s 6,094 sq ft Trump Towers Kalyani Nagar apartment is leased for three years with 5% annual escalation, documents show.

Ranbir Kapoor has put a luxury Pune address to work. The actor’s 6,094 sq ft apartment in Trump Towers, Kalyani Nagar, has been leased for three years at a starting monthly rent of ₹4,63,050, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix and reported by Hindustan Times.
The leave and licence agreement was registered on October 6, 2026, and covers September 20, 2026 to September 19, 2029. It includes three covered parking spaces and a 5% annual escalation clause.
The numbers behind the lease
The starting rent works out to roughly ₹4.63 lakh a month. Over the full 36-month term, the agreement totals about ₹1.75 crore in rent, with the tenant adding a ₹27.78 lakh security deposit, equivalent to six months of the starting rent.
Kapoor bought the apartment in 2015 for more than ₹11 crore, the documents show. That makes this a long-held asset now generating steady income rather than a quick flip.
Where it sits in his property moves
The Pune lease is the latest in a busy real-estate year for the actor. Recent transactions reported by Hindustan Times include:
- April 2026: Four adjoining land parcels spanning about 25.7 acres in Mulshi, Pune, for ₹16.42 crore.
- May 2026: A 2,134 sq ft plot at The Sarayu in Ayodhya for around ₹3.31 crore.
- Mumbai: His former 2,460 sq ft Pali Hill apartment leased for ₹11 lakh a month for five years, with a 5% escalation and a ₹45 lakh security deposit.
Why this matters for fans and buyers
Celebrity leases in premium buildings make headlines, but they also mirror how top-end Indian real estate works. Long leave-and-licence agreements with annual escalations protect landlords against inflation, while a six-month security deposit lowers the default risk. The flat’s 6,094 sq ft size and three parking spots put it firmly in the luxury segment, where rental demand often comes from senior executives and business families rather than first-time tenants.
The address itself adds brand pull. Trump Towers Pune was developed by Panchshil Realty in partnership with The Trump Organisation about a decade ago. It comprises two 23-storey towers with 46 single-floor ready apartments spread across 3.69 lakh sq ft, each a 5.5 BHK.
For Ranbir, property is becoming a quiet second income stream, separate from film fees and endorsements. The Pune flat alone is set to bring in around ₹1.75 crore over three years before taxes and maintenance costs. For anyone watching luxury rents, the deal doubles as a useful Kalyani Nagar benchmark: price the annual step-up into the budget, not just the first month’s figure.
