Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra’s most awaited movie, ‘Saina’ is a biopic based on the famous badminton star Saina Nehwal. The teaser and poster of the film were unveiled by the makers on Tuesday. The poster gave a glimpse of Parineeti Chopra’s hand serving the badminton shuttle. While many were excited about the poster, some netizens trolled the actress for a major goof-up in the poster. Some netizens pointed out that the kind of serves shown in the poster is that of tennis and not badminton. The makers of the movie are being trolled for this ‘basic mistake’. In the first poster of the movie, we can see a hand and a badminton shuttlecock. The wrist with a tricolor Indian flag band.
A Twitter user sharing the poster of the film wrote, “In baddy, no one tosses the shuttle. This looks like a tennis serves. Basic mistake”. Another user mentioned, A user wrote: “All the Best for the movie.. but if this is how you serve in Badminton, I’m pretty sure @NSaina won’t agree with this. Get a new poster out quickly to bury this one. The pose looks more like a biopic on @MirzaSania.”
Apart from Parineeti Chopra, ‘Saina’ also stars Manav Kaul and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. The movie is been directed by Amole Gupte and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jairaj, and Rasesh Shah. It will be release in theatres on March 26. ‘Saina’ was scheduled to release earlier, however, due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, it got delayed.
