Isha Koppikar is an Indian actress who has appeared in films such as Krishna Cottage, Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi, D, Don, and others. The actress is gearing up for a comeback, with a couple films due to hit theatres this year. After the birth of her daughter Rianna in July 2014, Isha took a vacation from the industry. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, the 45-year-old actress enjoyed a successful career. However, in a recent interview with Bombay Times, she spoke openly about her experience with the casting couch, admitting that she was booted out of a project as a result of it.

Isha Koppikar mentioned in an interview with a news portal: “In mid-2000, I was called by a renowned producer who said that you have to be in the good books of the hero. I didn’t know what he meant. So, I called up the hero, who asked me to meet him alone. I called the producer and told him that I am here due to my talent and looks and if that can get me good work, then it’s good enough. I was thrown out of the film.”

The actress Isha koppikar also stated that the entertainment world had camps and nepotism, and that she had to settle for tiny jobs because she refused to compromise. She also admitted that she is a no-nonsense girl who has lost a lot of projects as a result of her demeanour.

Isha Koppikar has also appeared in films in Marathi, Kannada, and Telugu, for those who are unaware. Her most recent appearance was in the web series Fixerr, which premiered in 2019.
