Singer Neha Kakkar on Thursday revealed that she has decided to unfollow many people on Instagram. The singer will now only follow those whom she knows personally, or whom she meets regularly and work with. She took this decision due to some bad experiences in the past.
Neha Kakkar, who recently bagged the title of the Most Followed Indian Musician with over 60 million followers on Instagram, is trying to be more careful on social media. In her Instagram stories, she is unfollowing others due to bad experiences in the past.
“Sorry!! Finally decided to unfollow quite a few people from my Instagram. Coz of some really bad experiences in the past. Going to only follow those who I know or regularly meet or work with!!. Sorry if that made you feel bad! Have no grudges against anyone. But such is life! We have to have to be really careful,” she wrote.
Neha Kakkar shuts up trolls
Celebrities receiving hatred on social media is not new and Neha Kakkar is no exception. Back in 2018, after Neha made a comeback on the singing reality show, Indian Idol as a judge, she was trolled. In one of the episodes, Neha was seen crying after a contestant shared his struggles. Post the episode, her Instagram and Twitter pages were not just spammed with comments but trolls also made funny memes.
Neha Kakkar gave a reply to all by posting a hard-hitting message, “Getting #Trolled for Crying! Next time Plz Troll Me for my Loud Laughter as well. In fact, Why Don’t You Troll Me for Helping Needy People?? .. Anyway! Whatever it is, This is how I Am Jaisi Real Life Mein Hoon, Waisi Hi Camera Ke Aage. THE CAMERA CANT CHANGE MY PERSONALITY! Yes, I Am An Emotional Girl and Really Proud of it! I Have a Heart that feels people’s Emotions… Many people these days have become Heartless/ Emotionless… I don’t wanna become like them ???? If I find something funny, I Laugh my lungs out, if I find something sad, it makes me Cry,” wrote Neha.
