Loss of Lata Mangeshkar: Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are upset

Fans of Lata Mangeshkar are in a state of shock at the news of the legendary singer’s death. She passed away this morning at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. It is, without a doubt, the end of an era. Since the morning, netizens have been grieving the legendary singer’s death, and social media has been flooded with tweets. In fact, several Bollywood celebs have used social media to express their sorrow at the singer’s death. Many celebrities, including Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi, have expressed their sorrow on Instagram.

Vicky Kaushal posted a black-and-white photo of a young Lata Mangeshkar smiling beside a sorrowful emoji. Katrina Kaif, meanwhile, used her Instagram account to post yet another photo of the renowned musician. “Legend,” she added adding three heart emojis. “You would always be adored cherished for centuries,” Kiara Advani wrote with a black and white photo of the late singer. Lata Ji, may you rest in peace. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies to the family.” Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan also used their Instagram accounts to grieve the passing of the singing superstar.

Many celebrities have been seen visiting Lata Mangeshkar’s home, including Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandarkar, Javed Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, and Sachin Tendulkar.

Lata Mangeshkar’s mortal remains would be taken to her Peddar Road apartment Prabhu Kunj at 12:30 p.m., according to reports. The family members will leave after 3 p.m. for Dadar’s Shivaji Park, where the funeral rituals are expected to begin at 4 p.m.
