Aamir Khan has indeed carved a niche for himself with rich content-driven films. The actor will soon be sharing screen space with Kareena Kapoor Khan again for his upcoming film “Laal Singh Chaddha”. Aamir Khan, who generally avoids social media, started trending on YouTube recently. A fragment of an interview was shared by a fan club dedicated to the actor. In the video, the actor is engaged in a chat session revolving around his forthcoming movie. Aamir was joined by his wife Kiran Rao in the video.
During his birthday in 2019, Aamir Khan had announced Laal Singh Chaddha in a media interaction. The film is a Hindi remake of the 1994 classic Forrest Gump, which starred Tom Hanks in the lead role. In the YouTube Video, Aamir started by saying how the original film began with a feather that comes floating down from the sky. Aamir confessed that he often jokes with the director Advait that “when we took on this film, our lives have become like a feather. Different winds are pushing us in different directions, and we are just kind of flowing with it. We are just going to figure out where we land up by the end of the film”
In the video, Aamir Khan can be seen talking about the “complications” that they had during the shooting of Laal Singh Chaddha. The actor referred to his co-star Kareena Kapoor’s pregnancy during the shooting of the film. Aamir Khan jokingly said, “While the rest of the world was dealing with Corona, we were dealing with Corona and Kareena, she got pregnant, so we are like one more gust of wind has pushed us in another direction.”
Aamir’s fans are hoping that all goes well with the movie now and the movie is completed. Aamir Khan said, “I have always loved Forrest Gump as a script. It is a wonderful story about this character. It is a life-affirming story. It is a feel-good film. It is a film for the whole family. It’s a wonderful film so I really like it.” As an added attraction, the film Lal Singh Chaddha has Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan for cameo appearances. Kareena shot for the film during her pregnancy last year and finished shooting in October 2020. Previously scheduled to release on Christmas 2020, the movie will now release in theatres on Christmas 2021.
