The producer Nikhil Dwivedi has acquired the remake of the Hollywood film Kill Bill starring Uma Thurman in the lead role. As per the reports, actress Kriti Sanon may be roped in to play the lead role. It will be for the first time, Kriti will be seen in an action-packed movie, which will be drastically different from her previous roles.
A source revealed, Nikhil has been working closely on the script of Kill Bill adaptation with Anurag Kashyap all through the lockdown. The duo is calling it a homage to the original film and has finally locked a script that does justice to the legacy of the Quentin Tarantino directorial. Anurag and Nikhil have now taken a step ahead to move on to the casting front and initiated conversations with Kriti Sanon to play the lead.”
The source further added, “It’s the character of an assassin, termed as the deadliest woman in the world. The action aside, there runs a strong undercurrent of revenge and emotions all through the narrative, much like the original film,”
While Kriti Sanon will be playing the lead role, two more actresses will be joining her.
On the other hand, Kriti will be wrapping up her shooting for the upcoming movie, ‘Adipurush’, in which she will be portraying the role of Sita. “It might take off by early next year, however, it’s all dependent on the Covid-19 scenario,” A source concluded saying that, Besides Killi Bill, Nikhil will also be working on the modern-day adaption of Naagin with Shraddha Kapoor in the titular role.
Kriti Sanon have several other movie in her kitty including Mimi, Hum Do Hamare Do, Bachchan Pandey, Bhediya, and Ganapath.
