Katrina Kaif and Ranveer Singh are making headlines once again. Recently, the duo was clicked visiting together filmmaker Zoya Akhtar’s residence in Mumbai. Katrina and Ranveer have previously worked with Zoya. While Ranveer worked with Zoya in Gully Boy and Dil Dhadakne Do, Katrina collaborated with Zoya in Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara.
Ranveer and Katrina’s visit led to speculations that the duo might be collaborating with the filmmaker once again. It was reported that Ranveer and Katrina would be the lead pair in Zoya’s new directorial. The film would be a gangster drama and the shooting is likely to start soon. The yet-to-be-titled project is a remake of the Hollywood film ‘The Departed’.
The official announcement for the movie is yet to come. As per the sources, Ranveer has already okayed the film. The dates could not be finalized due to nationwide lockdown. Now Ranveer will prioritize his already committed films and then start Zoya’s next. Katrina is also having an interesting role in the movie. She will be seen in a fantastic action-packed role.
Ranveer and Katrina have worked together in Rohit Shetty’s “Sooryavanshi”, where Ranveer has an extended cameo. The film was scheduled to release in March last year, which got delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
