Actress Karishma Tanna has always been a fine performer. But this year when she made her debut on the OTT space with Hansal Mehta’s Scoop she made sure to create waves. Karishma played the lead role in this intense story that has now been ranked amongst the top 10 shows of 2023 on IMDB.
For those who don’t know, Scoop is inspired by the real-life story of Journalist Jigna Vora who was wrongly accused of murdering another fellow journalist. The Karishma Tanna starrer was based on the novel Jigna wrote describing her life in jail and how this tag changed her life completely.
Karishma received rave reviews for her performance. The show was hailed as quite a great one. Now with IMDB also ranking it as one of the most popular shows this year, only makes the efforts of the entire more valid. Scoop was released on Netflix in June 2023.
