Kareena Kapoor Khan is making buzz ever since the news got surfaced that the actress hiked her fees for essaying the role of Sita. Reportedly, Bebo demanded twelve crores to play the role of Sita. She has been a subject of trolls multiple times for the same.
In the latest interview, Bebo talked about equal pay in the showbiz industry and also stated all she wants is respect. Talking to a leading daily, Kareena added that times are changing and many are now being vocal about pay disparity in the industry.
“Just a few years ago, no one would talk about a man or woman actually getting equal pay in a movie. Now there are a lot of us being very vocal about it. I make it clear what I want and I think that respect should be given. It’s not about being demanding, it’s about being respectful towards women. And I think things are kind of changing,” Bebo added.
On the work front, Kareena will be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, sharing screen space with Aamir Khan. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the film also stars Naga Chaitanya. Laal Singh Chaddha is a Hindi remake of the 1994 Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’. Besides this, she is all set to make her debut as a producer in Hansal Mehta’s untitled next. She will also star in the film.
