Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan welcomed their second son in February this year. However, like the times of their elder son, Taimur Ali Khan, the couple did not announce the name of their second child. Since then people started speculating and later, Kareena’s father and veteran actor Randhir Kapoor revealed his grandson’s name to be Jeh. After Bebo’s debut book launch, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible, the second son’s name is pretty much confirmed, to be Jehangir.
As soon as this news made its way to the internet, trolls attacked the couple. Saif Ali Khan’s sister Saba Ali Khan who keeps posting family throwback pictures on her Instagram space came in defense. Saba took to her Instagram stories and shared a post after it was revealed Kareena’s second son’s name is Jehangir. Saba Ali Khan wrote, “Jeh…Jaan. What’s in a name? Love…live and let it be. Children are God’s blessings,” followed by heart emoticons.
It was reported that after the birth of the second child, the couple didn’t decide on any name for their second baby. Earlier, in a conversation with Neha Dhupia on Kareena’s talk show, What Women Want, Bebo revealed that after the whole controversy behind their first-born son, Taimur Ali Khan’s name, she has left the decision of naming her second baby at the last minute and then will spring a surprise.
Meanwhile, during the launch of her pregnancy bible on August 9, filmmaker Karan Johar asked if he is allowed to reveal the name of her second son in the public domain. To which, the actress agreed and announced his name to be Jeh Ali Khan.
