Karan Johar’s production house is a big brand in the Bollywood industry. It is known for launching careers. It is every newcomer’s dream to work with Dharma Productions. But the young actor, Kartik Aryan indirectly refused to work for Karan Johar’s Dostana 2.
It was speculated that from two actors in Dostana 2, Kartik will be the one. Infect, the shoot was also started but after 20days of shoots, Kartik started stretching dates. As per media reports, the reason behind this was the creative differences between Kartik Aryan & Karan Johar.
This happened for the very first time when Dharma faced such issues with any actor. In an interview, Karan said that he had to pick Janhvi Kapoor between Dostana2 & Mr.Lele. Therefore, he continuously asked Kartik for dates and he kept delaying.
Karan understood Kartik’s behaviour and felt pretty upset about his conduct. Getting upset with Kartik’s attitude, Karan planned to begin shooting for film Mr.Lele. The film will be starring Vicky Kaushal and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. Yet, Karan was in some hopes. But, as soon as he decided to start another project this April, Kartik turned his mind.
As Kartik got to know about Karan’s April month plan he asked him to schedule for his film the same month. That brought Karan to the saturation point. And, getting frustrated with Kartik’s tantrum he ousted him.
Karan decided not to ever take Kartik in any of the Dharma production’s projects in the future. Also, there are various other reasons rumored for removing Kartik from the film, Dostana 2. One is that there had been a fallout between Kartik Aryan & Janhvi Kapoor.
