Tirath Singh Rawat, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand made a remark about women wearing ripped jeans while attending a workshop. CM Rawat spoke about a female co-passenger on board a flight with him once. The co-passenger understandably runs an NGO. Recounting the female’s attire, the Chief Minister questioned what kind of “sanskar” (values) the woman is going to give children. The lady as per CM Rawat was wearing ripped jeans and showing her knees.
CM Rawat’s remark has sparked mixed reactions from Bollywood celebrities. Various netizens have also reacted to the remark. While several have voiced protests over the debatable remark, Kangana Ranaut has not criticized Chief Minister Rawat, Kangana Ranaut took to her social media handle and The actress shared photographs of herself wearing ripped jeans on Twitter and joined the debate. Kangana Ranaut has gone ahead and offered a fashion tip to youngsters.
