Jhund, starring Amitabh Bachchan, will be released on March 4, 2022

Several production houses have declared revised release dates in the wake of the third wave of the Covid-19 outbreak. Jhund, starring Amitabh Bachchan and directed by Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, is planned to hit theatres on March 4, 2022. The news was released on Wednesday.

The filmmakers resorted to social media to announce a new Amitabh Bachchan poster as well as the film’s release date. “Iss toli se muqaabla karne ke liye raho taiyaar Aa rahi hai, humari team. #Jhund will be released in theatres on March 4, 2022.”

Under the banners of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment, as well as Aatpat, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Raj Hiremath, Nagraj Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni, and Meenu Aroraa are producing the film.

Mr Bachchan is depicted in the poster carrying a football. In the film, the megastar plays the role of Vijay Barse. Vijay is the creator of Slum Soccer, an organisation that uses soccer to help poor children. The film focuses on his life and his work as a physical activities instructor. In addition to Vicky Kadian and Ganesh Deshmukh, Jhund has Vicky Kadian and Ganesh Deshmukh in prominent roles. The biographical sports drama premiered in February of this year. It’s Manjule’s first time in Bollywood.

In the meantime, Amitabh Bachchan has Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ inside the works. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt play key roles in the film. It also features Akkineni Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in key parts. The film ‘Brahmastra’ will be released in theatres on September 9, 2022.

Big B also contains Vikas Bahl’s ‘Goodbye,’ which stars Rashmika Mandanna and Neena Gupta, and Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Oonchai,’ which stars Parineeti Chopra and Anupam Kher.
