The Indian Idol 12 is inching towards its finale. The show is currently having a battle between the 6 finalists. This weekend’s episode of the reality show will have 80’s hit pair, Dharmendra and Anita Raj. To make the episode more special, the top 6 contestants will give tribute to the late Dilip Kumar.
The He-man of Hindi cinema got emotional on the sets of Indian Idol 12. He said, “Abhi hum sadme se ubhre nahi hain…meri jaan the woh. Maine apni zindagi ki pehli film inhi ki dekhi thi. Aur inko dekh ke itna pyaar aya, mujhe laga mujhe bhi isi tarah industry mein pyaar mile…Dilip Sahab jitne azeem fankaar the usse bhi azeez insaan the”.
The actor had moist eyes when he said., “We haven’t gotten out of the shock. At least, I haven’t. He was very close to my heart. And as soon as I entered Bollywood, I got to meet him. I got so much love from him. It’s indescribable. May God grant him heaven and Saira get a lot of strength”. Also, while the Indian Idol finalists were singing “Sukh ke Sab Saathi”, Dharmendra was holding back his tears.
