As it’s been a long time of 5 years since Karan directed Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. After that reports came in 2019 that Karan will direct Ranveer Singh in the upcoming Film “Takht”. But due to the covid-19 outbreak throughout the country, There haven’t been any further updates regarding it.

While the official announcement about the film is set to be made by KJO tomorrow as Ranveer Singh has his birthday. This film is said to feature Jaya Bachchan in one of the pivotal roles. Veteran actor Jaya will return back in the silver screen after a long gap of 12 years. It will be truly exciting to see her along with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. As Karan has already stated in previous interviews that casting plays a very important role in the film.
According to the source, “The title of the film is centered around the two characters played by Ranveer and Alia. It’s essentially a Prem Kahani of the two leads,”. The official announcement is set to be made by tomorrow as it will correspond with Superstar Ranveer Singh’s Birthday.
Apart from this film, Ranveer will be seen in Cirkus directed by Rohit Shetty, in Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and the 83 movie directed by Kabir Khan. Recently, Ranveer Singh has made an announcement of a tv reality show, “The Big Picture” which is set to be telecasted on Colors tv network. We look forward to seeing Ranveer making his tv debut with this show. On the other hand, talking about Alia Bhatt, she will be seen in the upcoming film Gangubai Kothewali, it is directed by SLB aka Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
