Shilpa Shetty is set to entertain us with an upcoming comedy film, ‘Hungama 2’. It is a remake of director Priyadarshan’s Malayalam film ‘Minnaram’. It will also feature Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jafri, and Pranita Subhash. Akshay Kumar recently released the trailer of the film and called it ‘a crazy laugh riot’.
The actor took to his Twitter handle and launch the trailer. He wrote, “Happy to launch the trailer of my dear friends, @priyadarshandir Sir, @SirPareshRawal and @rtnjn’s next #Hungama2, a crazy laugh riot.”
Shilpa Shetty also tweeted and wrote, “Khatam hua aapka aur mera intezaar,Face with cold sweat. #Hungama2 ka trailer lekar, laut aayi hoon main after 14 saal!… It’s double the fun, double the madness, double the hungama to tickle your funny bones! Streaming from 23rd July. Only on Disney+ Hotstar VIP!”
Shilpa Shetty had revealed the release date and poster of the film. She wrote, “Can’t keep calm, kyunki ab hoga Hungama! #DisneyPlusHotstarMultiplex #Hungama2 trailer coming out on July 1st on Disney+ Hotstar VIP! You don’t want to miss this!”
Talking about the movie, Shilpa Shetty shared, “The love I have received over the years is unbelievable. It makes me happy, humble, and grateful to know people have appreciated my performances and are wanting more. Also, I love being on set and acting in front of the camera. I am so excited to be back and doing what I am really passionate about.”
The film is a sequel to the film ‘Hungama’, directed by Priyadarshan. It will be featuring Paresh Rawal. reprising his character named Radhe Shayam Tiwari. The film also features Ashutosh Rana, Manoj Joshi, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, and Tiku Talsania. ‘Hungama 2’ is written by Anukalp Goswami, Manisha Korde, and Yunus Sajawal. It will stream from July 23 on Disney+ Hotstar.
